Tennis Betting with Fitzdares
The ATP Tour is split into ATP 1000, ATP 500, and ATP 250 events as well as the year's four Grand Slams. ATP 1000 events are worth the most ranking points and therefore usually attract the strongest fields, outside of the four Grand Slams. The WTA Tour for the women, operates in exactly the same format. The season culminates in the ATP Tour / WTA Tour Finals, held in Turin and in Shenzhen respectively for the eight players who have accumulated the most world ranking points across the season. An equivalent is held for doubles on both tours.
The four Grand Slams are without doubt the most sought after prizes in tennis. The Australian Open is the year's first major held in late January through to early February. Rafael Nadal is the reigning champion, having beaten Daniil Medvedev in this year's final in the most dramatic fashion, while Australian Ashleigh Barty captured her national championship before retiring in January. The French Open is next and this event has been utterly dominated by Rafael Nadal over the years. The Spaniard won the tournament for a 14th time earlier this year. Iga Swiatek meanwhile, added a second French Open title to her collection. From late June to July, London hosts Wimbledon, where Carlos Alcaraz overturned Djokovic to seal his maiden title at SW19 in 2023. Kazakhstan's Elina Rybakina defeated Ons Jabeur in the Ladies' Final to win her first Grand Slam. Finally, New York plays host to the year's final Grand Slam as the US Open takes centre stage in September. Daniil Medvedev ended Djokovic's pursuit of calendar Grand Slam in 2021 after beating him in the final in 2021. Britain's Emma Raducanu, meanwhile won her maiden Slam title in the women's event, beating fellow teenager Leylah Fernandez in the final.
You can bet on every event from the ITF Futures circuit, the Challenger Tour, the ATP Tour, the WTA Tour as well as the year's four Grand Slam with Fitzdares.
